Another fun-filled weekend where the days fly by faster than they ever have before. I seriously cannot believe that Lee is leaving this Saturday. It just doesn't seem like it's been three months since he first arrived. It's the END of September!!! That's just insane. I mean, my birthday is in three months. AAAAAHHHHH!! I'm going to be 25!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHH! OK, I'm getting off topic here. I suppose this is just one of those moments where one realizes that time passes ridiculously fast.

I had my first TEFL class on Saturday and I really enjoyed it. There are only three other people in my group and, for the most part, they seem fairly likeable. We're going to have a good amount of interaction with ESL students during the course and we have to actually teach three large classes and nine small group sessions. I'm really looking forward to the whole experience, and I definitely think that this was a good decision for me.

After my class, we headed down to Providence for some quality fun with Kevin and Jef. The night started off quite amusingly and remained so to the end. When we first got there Lee and I drove around a bit looking for parking. We were driving down Thayer Street when he said, "Hey, there's Jef." At that point I turned my head to the side and shouted, "Hey Jef!" and while doing so, I managed to rear end the car in front of me. I was mortified, but luckily there was no real damage to either car. Once we were inside, I found out that Jef and his cohorts made fun of the whole situation relentlessly, as they didn't know I was involved. Nice.

~ At this point I could go into a long rant about the suave, $1000 a day coke habit, Eurotrash, Brown students who populated the restaurant at which we had dinner. I'm not going to though because I'd get all worked up and it would take up far too much space. Let's just say that never before have I seen such a group of ridiculously pretentious, air-kissing fuckwits gathered in once place and I lived in NY people! It was just ridiculous and sad. ~

So yeah, dinner, drinking, Kevin puking, and a yummy breakfast yesterday morning. That basically sums up the rest of our Providence related activities.

Yesterday was completely lazy and indulgent; I loved every minute of it. We did nothing, ate greasy Chinese food, and watched the Emmy Awards. It was too hot during the day to really go out and do much. I really wish that autumn would hurry up and arrive. I’m just so sick of this hot, humid weather. Today it’s rainy, which is fine in my book, but it’s still too hot! Ugh.

Tonight = Super Furry Animals show. The rest of the week = vacation time (after tomorrow) to be spent traipsing around the city and engaging in some quality snuggle time with Lee.
