Saturday, Oct. 12, 2002 - 9:51 P.M.

I didn't end up driving down to NY toady. The weather was awful so I postponed it until tomorrow. It was nice though because having a Saturday free allowed me to sleep obscenely late and essentially do nothing all. day. long. Now it's evening and I am sitting around missing Lee. We spoke a lot toady which was nice but being alone for a whole day for the first time since he left really kind of got to me. I would do almost anything to be in London sleeping by his side right now. :::sigh::: Cest la vie I suppose. I'm planning on buying my plane ticket next weekn after speaking with my parents. Hopefully having that settled will provide me with some comfort.

I'm drinking hot chocolate made with milk and watching the end of "Can't Hardly Wait" on TV. Any movie that has Ethan Embry in it and ends with a Yaz (Yazoo to you Brits out there- this was a big source of confusion at the start of my relationship with Lee) in it is A-OK in my book. I haven't really been sure what to do with my self all day and I'm still not. There's a show on VH-1 next called, "Guilty Pleasures." I think I'll induldge my dorky side and make a list detailing my guilty pleasures music realted and otherwise. Without further delay . . .

- sleeping late - I have no excuses for this one, I just like to sleep. A lot.

- "Absolutely Fabulous" - Sex, drugs, decadence, and fashion parties. What more could you ask for.

- Synth Pop - Sometimes I think I should have been a gay british man born a decade earlier than I was. Pet Shop Boys, Erasure, Yaz - bring it on.

- "Everybody Loves Raymond" OK, I admit - I love Raymond! I do. I can no longer deny it. He's one funny I-talian.

- Bad Pop Music - Spice Girls, Ace of Base, Vengaboys (yes, I own a CD single of "Boom, Boom, Boom".

- Spaghettios - simply yummy.

ASIDE - I found out this summer and just had it confirmed by Andy Dick who is hosting "Guilty Pleasures," that "Cum on Feel the Noise" by Quiet Riot is a COVER SONG! Apparently the orginal was done by a British glam band called Slade. Who knew????????

- "Cops" God, I love that show.

- Neil Diamond. The man has got it going ON!

- Dr. Drew of the old MTV show "Love Lines." I'm sorry, but he's just hot. I have met other girls who think so so I know that I'm not alone in this.

- Trashy magazines. Although I realize that as a feminist I should list magazines such as "Bust" or "Bitch" as my favorite, to do so would be a lie. I love the bad ones. Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Allure etc. - I can't get enough.

- Products. I'll freely admit that I'm marketing's wet dream as a consumer. I buy my shampoo based on how pretty the bottle is and cool ads can get me hook line and sinker. I love different products. Sephora is seriously my dream store which brings me to . . .

- make-up. It's paint for your face. How fun is that? I love trying things like blue mascara or red lipstick. I guess that's my girly side.

- bags. Bags are to me what shoes are to many other women. I like them and I love to collect them.

- The National Lampoon's Vacation movies. Chevy, or Chevy tell me just where along the line did you lose the funny?

- True Crime stoires. Yes, I'm totally drawn to the macabre. I don't know why but it fascinates me.

- Moby's journal on Moby.com. I hate him, but I can't stop reading him.

"Hungry Like the Wolf" YES! I can't tell you how much I love this song. It's a kareoke favorite of mine. Guilty pleasure my ass, this is a DAMN FINE song!!! Simon LeBon. mmmmmmmmm. OOOOOHHHHHH!!! Ace of Bace! It's "The Sign" too! Damn man, this show was made for me! Woot Woot.

- "The Golden Girls" - I swear I must have seen every single episode by now.

- Pugs. Yes, it's true - I love pugs. Those little smooshed black faces, those curly tails, those puggy kisses and snorts, what's not to love?

Oh my God! Cory Feldman is commenting on "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go." Have I died and gone to heaven?

- Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.

- Roasted nuts from street vendors in NYC.

- "So I Married and Axe Murderer" - One of my all time favorites. Heed! Paper! Now!

- Red wine

- "Quantum Leap" What? It was a good show!

Ok, my stomach is killing me. I think I overdosed on the hot chocolate. I think I had better go before this gets ugly and I further incriminate myself.
