Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002 - 11:08 P.M. I should probably stop updating on Saturday nights lest I tarnish my super cool image. ;) Actually, I was in no mood to go out tonight. After an entire day of class something cozy was definitely in order. I've been having a lot of nights in lately and I'm suprisingly fine with that. I need to save cash and I have a lot of little details to sort out, so I welcome the free time. I got a little down earlier and I'm fairly certain I know the root of the sadness. I miss Lee. I miss having him here. I miss kissing him. I miss having dinner with him and laughing with him, and I miss sleeping next to him. My roommate isn't in tonight and the silence is eerie. So earlier, after taking a nice long nap, I threw on some jeans and headed over the Store 24. Two magazines, a pack of camel lights, some white cheddar soy chips, and a diet coke later, I sat down to type this entry. Sometimes it's the little things that provide the most comfort. I just really want the next two months (and a few weeks) to fly by. Times like this make me wish I could press a FF button on the remote control of my life and just skip the previews. I do have things with which to occupy my time, but being busy isn't always enough of a distraction. I've never been a very patient person and this is particulary hard for me, especially since it's so close. ~~~ Ooh, ooh, ooh! I nearly forgot to mention it, but I got a card in the post yesterday notifying me that my German passpot is ready to be picked-up!! I'm heading down to the consulate during my lunch on Monday and I'm so excited. Some night when it's not so late and I don't have magazines to read, I'll write an entry detailing just why this is so important for me. Although, I think the most important reason is pretty obvious. I can work in the UK!! ::: does a little jig ::: YAY! ~~ The rest of tonight = Some reading and tv watching coupled with some brooding and pining. Tomorrow = Brunch (am I really the kind of person that has brunch? Oh god, I hope not) with Adam and Nancy. Very much looking forward to this as we've not hung out in a group since right before Lee arrived. After that I'll be doing some laundry, some cleaning, some talking with Lee, and hopefully, a whole lot of reading. It promises to be quite a nice day.
