Monday, Nov. 04, 2002 - 9:51 A.M. I can't believe it's actually Monday again. Ergh! The weekends really do pass too quickly, especially when I have class from 9-5 on Saturdays. I can't wait to leave this job. It's only 10 in the morning and I'm already bored. Seriously though, I'm too young to hate my job this much. I'm really looking forward to making a career switch. It's all so very exciting. Saturday night I ended up going out with Adam and Nancy. I hadn't planned on going anywhere as I am really broke atm due to some recent expenses, but they insisted and N paid for me. We ended up at an Armenian bar / restaurant that had belly dancers and a band who played the Gypsy Kings in addition to Armenian folk tunes. It was so damn awsome. I also had a very yummy cosmopolitan as Nancy, Adam, and I laughed hysterically at some of the folks shakin' their groove thangs out on the dance floor. Even though I don't see them as much as I used to, I'm really going to miss them both. The first year or two that I was up here, they were the grounding factors in my life. We have promised to go dancing before I leave and I'm going to see to it that we make good on that one. When I returned home I proceeded to write an entry and drunk dial nearly everyone I know. Yes, it was embarassing. I used to be the queen of the drunk dial. There were times in college where I'd drunk dial people with whom I hadn't spoken in months. It's been ages since I've really done that so it suprised me. I think I was just happy and bored and wanted to chat. Although fun at the time, I wish I could now take back some of the messages I left for people at 1:30 am. I suppose I'll never learn. The message I left for Lee though was supposedly very cute. I sang a personlized version of that song that goes: You're just to good to be true can't take my eyes off of you you'd be like heaven to touch I want to hold you so much . . . I love you baby and if it's quite alright I need you baby to love and hold me baby oh pretty baby trust in my when I say . . . ba dum ba dum ba da dum da da da da daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! You get the idea . . . The one that Heath Ledger sings while dancing on the beachers in "10 Things I Hate About You." Speaking of that movie, I'd like to put it in writing that the father is one of the funniest characters ever. The scene where he's talking to Bianca while riding the exercise bicycle is priceless. ACK!!! Must run to do something for boss. To be continued . . .
