Here's what happens when you're alone in the office for the second day in a row.

  • You listen your new Luna mini album at a volume that would not normally be considered exceptable. Reapeat as desired.

  • You recline in your chair and put your feet up on the desk. Although you actually considered bringing your slippers into work.

  • You take a mid-morning cigarette break with Nan not worrying whether or not anyone is going to care.

  • Since you didn't get to have a lunch hour yesterday, you decide at 9:30am that you're going to take a two hour afternoon break today. You plan to utilize this time by going to the post office, the mall, and CVS.

  • You spend the morning writing Christmas cards.

  • You also work on updating your resume and finishing your final exam for your TEFL class.

  • You laugh with abandon when Adam calls to blame you for the fact that "The Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics is being played on the radio at the restaurant where he is having lunch. *don't ask*

  • You make lists and write diary entries without having to worry at all about whether your co-worker sees that you're not doing any work.

I'm sitting here all alone Luna on the stereo (ok, computer) and my luch steaming on my deak wating ot be eaten. Mmmmmm, fettucini alfredo with brocolli - and only 4 points since it's weight watchers. I'm not going to get into the fact that it's only 4 points because it's so small it's not even enough food to fill the belly of a five year old! *calms down, takes bite* Being at work alone would be really nice if it weren't so damn lonely. I swear, by four o'clock yesterday afternoon I was going stir crazy. Thankfully today I have my two hour stint at the mall to look forward to.

I'm going to be stocking up on Christmas presents for my family and loved one. It's times like this that I really appreciate having a small family. It's nice, since I'm not exactly rolling it it, not to have to spend tons of cash on loads of relatives. It's more than that though. I have a really hard time picking out gifts for people like my parents. It would be really stressful to have to do it for loads of people. I prefer to buy people presents when I see something that I know they'll like. When you have to buy someone somethign it's not nearly as fun.

ARGH!! I'm so PISSED OFF! I just got a phone call from my student employee - the one who was going to come in and cover for me during my excursion. He's not coming in! That means that I have to stay here for the rest of the afternoon all alone and can't take my two hour break! :(

On the otherhand - my boss who is away until January 10th got a perishable gift basket of fruit, jam, cheese, and mints that is now all mine. I'm off to eat a pear and pout.
