Bad things about today:
- I'm all stuffed up.
- The inside of my nose is raw and sore. It hurts like a bitch.
- I feel kind of fluey.
Good things about today:
- I only have one more day of work here left! "Woot! Woot! It's my disco call y'all!"
- Kevin, Jef, and Kathleen are coming over to hang out tonight.
- I picked up a really yummy sounding mini feast for myself and Kevin. It consists of Roasted Veggie Enchillads, Tex-Mex Rice, and ff refried beans, and yet still manages to be very point friendly! - SCORE!
- I am in a fantabulous mood despite feeling ill.
- Forcing myself to do laundry after work means that clean clothes will finally be mine once again!
- My friend Rima is flying up from DC this weekend just to visit me! She doesn't even mind that she's going to have to sit and watch me pack most of the day on Sat. That night, we're going to swing by our old haunt in Central Square and check up on a favorite bartender who may, or may not, still work there. It's so cool that she's going to visit. I feel very loved.
So, I need help with something. As I've mentioned before, I am going to switch diary spaces when I move to London. Star-Nicole will be a relic of the past once I begin this new phase of my life. The thing is, I'm having a really tough time coming up with a new name.
At first I thought it might be cool to name the new diary after some of Smiths lyrics. I soon found that they don't lend themselves to such things very easily, and all the good ones are taken, natch. I then tried to come up with something realted to my being an expat, or German, or American, or yada, yada, yada. That was just a dead end route too. The only I came up with was "yankskank.diaryland.com" and I don't think I really want that as my name.
So, good people of Diaryland I implore you to help me. Please feel free to bombard my guestbook with any suggestions you might have. That is all and I thank you in advance.
